Whilst it is North Kesteven District Council who will decide on the ‘principle’ of development at the site (i.e. whether it is appropriate for a solar extension to be installed in this area), the landowners are encouraging local people to be a part of the development process.
To help us consider all issues in relation to the development site, a number of technical studies are being undertaken which will help us to continue to shape plans for the site. These include; Ecology and Tree reports; Landscape and Visual Assessment; Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Impact Assessment; Heritage Impact Assessment; and a Transport Report.
What Happens Next?
All thoughts and suggestions will be carefully considered and used to help shape our development proposals further. A full planning application will then be submitted to North Kesteven District Council who will decide whether to grant planning permission. As part of the application process the Council will notify local people when the application is submitted and there will be an opportunity to make representations to the Council on the planning application.
